There is no true consolation in these moments; there is only the strength to keep moving, which we mysteriously find in ourselves and others. We are all in this together. Always. My beautiful friend and colleague, Rodney Gardiner, wrote lyrics after his family on Turks and Caicos endured Hurricane Hanna and were unreachable for far too long. I was honored to put those lyrics to music and create BUSY. May his heartfelt words remind us that, though pain is universal, so too is love and healing.  Donate to the American Red Cross.
